Grant Davidson is a young guitar player from the UK. Grant
is 14 years old and has been playing guitar for about a year now, he just
keeps getting tabs from the
net to learn songs.
Grant owns a Fender Squier Strat and a Squier practice
amp that do the job for him now but will be replaced soon on his birthday
with a Slash Signature Les
Paul Classic Model :)
About Slashs guitar playing, Grant explains that "Slash
influenced me because he just burns his fretboard when playing. It was
the sweet child solo that I wanted
to play and I still am trying to learn it." Grant hopes
to join a band and be as big as Guns N' Roses and Slash!
Nirvana, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin are some of the
rock bands that have influenced Grant, he started listening them because
Slash was into them so
he thought they might help him improving his guitar playing.
The world needs great guitar players to kick all the mediocrity
that's going on in the music business on these days and I know that young
guitar players like Grant
are the ones who'll do it!
